Kenny's Story

The Glory Song was written over 25 years ago by Kenny Lord — also known locally as 'The Mad Wizard', famous for his wizard-style hats. Now in his mid-70s, Kenny has spent his whole life writing songs and stories. An eccentric character who still writes lyrics on the bathroom wall (much to his wife's frustration!), Kenny spent 35 years as a window cleaner — until a fall off a ladder in 2025, caused by swatting away a bee, forced him to hang up his squeegee. Now he's chasing his dream with everything he's got. We believe The Glory Song is catchy enough to be sung on the terraces by England fans — and we're determined to give it its moment in the spotlight. LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!
